Dean Rehberger, Michigan State University
Dean Rehberger is Director of MATRIX, a digital humanities center, at Michigan State University, specializes in both developing online research applications and educational resources for Web, including the impact of the Internet on culture, the uses of Internet technologies for research and in the classroom, the use of high performance computing for the analysis of cultural heritage data, and the development of digital best practices for cultural heritage preservation and exhibition. He has run numerous faculty technology workshops and given presentations for educators from local, national and international institutions. For many years, as both director of MATRIX, he has researched and work with MATRIX staff and researchers from around the globe to develop a number of large-scale educational databases. He has more than fifteen years of experience coordinating complex, large scale, multi-partner projects.
