NTSC (National Television System Committee)

NTSC (National Television System Committee): One of two standard analog TV signal used for decades, until HD/Digital took over. Broadcast television stations adopted NTSC in most of North America and parts of South America as well as Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and the Philippines.
